"But, thanks to my recent fervor in Outdoor Program trip involvement, some may say I’m “livin’ like I was dyin’.” I celebrated my valentines day weekend in style with the O.P. gals for a night of skiing at Wintergreen resort last Friday. I’d always heard of these trips, I know many girls who have gone, I have looked enviously upon their adorable facebook pictures in their snow outfits as if they’d just walked off the set of a Disney Chanel Original Movie and told myself, skiing is for those cool kids who know what they are doing, not for plebes such as yourself. Besides, I don’t even have a snow outfit!
What I did have last weekend however, was nothing to do, no where to go, and a need for a plan to impress my boyfriend who was coming down to spend the idle time with me. So last Tuesday I unabashedly walked myself into the O.P. office, paid for the cheapest date in the history of my relationship, and signed the two of us up for ski lessons. BAM! “I will now be one of those girls in adorable outfits WITH arm candy."
